the archive
The Archive is dedicated to preserving and stewarding the legacy of two prolific twentieth-century American artists: William Lincoln Garver, Jr. (pictorial works) and Lila Rowena Selzer Garver (writing). We perpetuate their vision through exhibitions and publications in conjunction with established institutions. We also aim to create a comprehensive digital database of existing works. Visits are by appointment only beginning in 2027. Please note that the archive is not open to the public.
Permission of the archive to reproduce the works of William Lincoln Garver, Jr. or Lila Rowena Selzer Garver must be obtained in advance of any reproduction of their works and/or writings.
